This is a major revision of the 1980 book of the same title. There are detailed accounts of more than 80 species which represents the complete reptile fauna of the Solomon Islands as currently known. Descriptions, distributions, and natural history notes are updated and data-filled. Almost all of these species are illustrated - many with colour variants - in 156 high quality photographs (widespread Pacific taxa are illustrated by one or two photographs, but the Solomon endemic taxa or regional Melanesian ones by several photos).
