Howard Wilder has been re-elected chairman of the National Office of Animal Health for 2009-2010. He is the managing director of Genitrix Ltd. The election took place at NOAH’s AGM in London on 22 April.

Mr Wilder was elected to the NOAH Board of Management in 2005, appointed Vice Chairman in May 2006 and Chairman last year.

He said:

"Even more so in challenging times, businesses benefit through working together through a strong and effective trade association. I've found my first year at NOAH to be challenging but exciting and feel we've made significant progress in key areas. I'm delighted to have been elected for a second term which I'm sure will prove equally fruitful."

The National Office of Animal Health was formed on 1 January 1986 to represent UK companies which research, develop, manufacture and market licensed animal health products. In 2008 NOAH's members accounted for around 90% of the UK animal medicines market.

Howard Wilder

A Biology graduate of Cardiff University, with Masters in Agricultural Marketing from Cranfield. He started his career with the larger companies; Duphar, Solvay, American Cyanamid, and Fort Dodge.

He worked mostly in strategic marketing and operational management positions and held posts in the UK, Netherlands, USA and Far East.. When all previous employers merged, he founded Genitrix in 1998. He was elected to the Board of NOAH in 2005 and appointed Vice-Chairman in May 2006.
